World Gin Day is being celebrated at the Bass & Flinders Distillery cellar door in Red Hill on 13 & 14 June!
They’ll be offering a $25 gin tasting board which will include a tasting of some fine gins from around the word, including German, English, American gins, and of course a pretty special Aussie gin from Bass & Flinders. All of which will be accompanied with some good old fashioned gingerbread to keep within English traditions.
Gingerbread you may ask? Turns out that the earliest known food pairing with gin occurred with gingerbread which became common and is still tradition in parts of England today. Why not we say! Happy gin day!
